Fluctuat NEC Mergitur

This book is the journey, and in a sense the journal of an artist who has conducted a forty-five-year love affair with Newfoundland since he first set foot there in 1966. Travelling to every inhabited corner of the island, he has recorded his personal vision: painted almost entirely on-site, each image is the story of one day in his life, and one day in the life of a community.
