This Can't Be Normal

You've built the systems and followed the playbook, yet when the lights go out, you're still the one carrying it all. School leaders were told that hiring well and documenting everything would bring peace. It didn't. Because systems create structure and standards create clarity-but only rhythms create safety. In This Can't Be Normal, Chanie Wilschanski reveals what no one else will tell you: you're not drowning because you're weak. You're exhausted because you're carrying what systems can't hold-the invisible weight of everyone's expectations, emotions, and needs. This book is your map back to steady ground. Through vivid stories and raw honesty, Chanie introduces Rhythm-Based Leadership-a new way to lead that distributes the emotional and operational load so you can breathe again. This Can't Be Normal is a wake-up call-and a way home for leaders who know leadership is hard, but refuse to believe it has to feel like survival.
