The October 7 War

The October 7 War is a powerful visual record of one of the most devastating events in modern Israeli history. Renowned photojournalist Ziv Koren spent months documenting the aftermath of the October 7 massacre and the war that followed. Through more than 400 photographs, this extraordinary volume captures scenes of loss, courage, resilience, and national solidarity. Far more than a photo book, The October 7 War is a historical document and a tribute to those who endured, responded, rescued, fought, mourned, and rebuilt. From the Preface by Ziv Koren: "We live in such a visually documented age that it is easy to mistakenly think that what was not photographed did not happen." Reflecting on the limits of documentation, Koren pays tribute not only to the moments preserved in these pages, but also to the thousands of fateful moments that went unseen and unrecorded. "The Photos Not Taken" stands as his memorial to those moments, to the heroes who lived them, and to the memory of those who are no longer with us.
