José Parlá: Contemporary Palimpsests

Celebrating the large-scale calligraphic abstractions of José Parlá, known for his dynamic commissions at One World Trade Center and the Barclays Center This first midcareer publication on Cuban American artist José Parlá (born 1973) surveys his large-scale paintings and murals blending gestural abstraction, calligraphy and urban textures.
