Seasons of Time

In Seasons of Time, the artist Nathalie Rubens turns the camera on herself, her daughter Ruby, and the world around us to explore change, self-discovery, and cycles of life. The project exposes the inevitability of time passing and the precious liminality of aging, the way transitions from one time of life to another remain opaque to ourselves even as we live them.
