About this book
A clothbound survey of Zhang Enli’s experiments in abstraction through the decades, filled with his signature muted tones and loose washes
Beginning in the 1990s with his striking portraits of human figures, this publication traces the development of Zhang Enli’s (born 1965) work through the evocative object studies of the 2000s and early 2010s to the captivating abstract portraits that continue to occupy him today, including new paintings produced for Hauser & Wirth’s West Hollywood exhibition.
